The Why...

My name is Jon Slenker and I grew up in south Johnson County, Kansas where I earned a BS in Business Finance and cut my teeth in leadership and entrepreneurship. I moved to Raleigh, North Carolina in 2010 to pursue a Masters in Cross Cultural Leadership, and settled in Hampton Roads in 2017 with a purpose to continue serving leaders in my community.

As a leader, I’ve needed different things from different people throughout my journey (and still do). Sometimes we need a port in the storm, other times a simple lighthouse or beacon does the trick, still other times we feel like we need a life raft. I find no greater joy than to be for others what some have been for me. I believe leaders are to pass on what they have been given and that we were blessed in order to be a blessing.
